CSIII: Coming to an End. x_x

It has been a long year for all of us. Almost everything is now coming to an end. Good thing I am still surviving this school year especially now when all the requirements are piled up. I couldn’t quit because I wouldn’t let all my ‘hard work’ end up doing nothing or causing nothing at all. Alright, now, let’s talk about computer science. Hmmm. Like what I’ve said before, I never liked it. But the logic made me interested.
THIRD GRADING PERIOD in CS sucked. Having been absent for two weeks and not being able to take the long test really pulled... (more)

Journal in CS
Computer Science 3: The Final Judgment
by Patth Rick L. Ramirez of iii-Burbank

O ha~ Astig na ang CS ngayon. Buti naman ay pwede na ang TagLish dito sa Journal. Masasabi ko na lahat ng nasa saloob ko. Well, Computer Science is just one of my favorite subjects in my entire life. Hmm… I can say that our teacher is also one of my favorites, Ms. Maybelle Gallardo. Hindi ako nambobola or kung anupaman. Bihira kasi ang mga teachers na nakakabiruan mo kahit papano, ung may mga happy moments kayo together. When she lectures us, syempre she writes a program as an... (more)

Computer Science during the second grading period? Hmmm…

The things that we took up for the second quarter were a little confusing. Even though it was confusing, I am sure that I enjoyed it. All that conditional and looping statements…..those if, else if, switch and for statements…Whoa!!!
Some of the first things we discussed for the second grading period were the relational operators, relational expressions, logical operators, complex relational expressions, conditional statements and we learned about the “gotoxy”.
      We... (more)

Again, for the second time, I am creating my journal for my subject Computer Science.
This quarter, I had a good time having the topic switch. I think it is easier than the first topics that we had. On the other hand, when we moved onto the topic for, come on! I become confused. I thought that it would be better if it would be always switch as our topic. In the first lessons about for, I really did not fid it hard but as the time went by, it became harder and harder.
Even though I had problems about the topic, I had enough time... (more)

2nd Grading Period: The Next Level

CS III sets me to the new world and hopefully, to the next level. CS doesn’t mean childhood sickness, counter-strike, or even crime scene. It is a subject that Ms. Maybelle Gallardo teaching us (oops, I forgot her middle initial). Who is she? Is she a beauty queen? a cook in a restaurant? a saleslady in a market? or maybe, a hero of a nation? Yes, I can say she’s a hero because she makes Filipino children to rise with the flow of technology. It’s a pleasure for me to meet a hero by this time. I usually see her during Tuesday, Thursday but seldom during... (more)

Hmmmm. CS III… I never wanted CS, nor hated it. It was just like any subject. I come to class to sit and learn, participate if I could.—this was my life since grade school. I never enjoyed using the computer (except for games) because of so many things to click or press, why not just write it and design it by yourself???
We're just in the first part of CS III (out of four)—C Programming—sounded like a difficult and oh so professional term to me. I was so nervous the first time I entered the class because as I've said, I never wanted computers.
Whether we admit it or... (more)

My first impression of the class was that it would be harder than the lessons for the last two years and what i thought was correct. I really don't think that it is a hard subject but still i'm quite confused on the topics.
For our teacher, Ms.Gallardo, i thought that she was strict and a "kill joy teacher" but now i know that she was a cool teacher.
I hope that I could learn more in this class for the next days to come and i hope that there won't be any problem in the subject and especially with the teacher.

It is the second day of classes when we have our first class in Computer Science. I hoped that this would not be like our CS last year where we just had hands-on then tests then that’s all. This time, its different. Ms. Gallardo, as I have first seen, looks strict but I’m very wrong. She may be strict but in the right place. I enjoyed most of her lessons especially when we are making hands-on (how could I wish we’re always having hands-on). I love this subject so even I didn’t review for our periodical exam; I got 40, which is high passing (I hope so). This time, I have a lesson that’s very... (more)
